A message from Church Warden Annie Walsh
Dear Friends,
The Lent & Easter period is now upon us and this year it is quite an exciting and busy time for all of us that attend St Tecla’s Church in Llandegla.
Tomorrow we start with the 10 am Palm Sunday service taken by Reverend Helen Gheorghia-Gould then at 3.00 pm there is a ‘Mission Area Commissioning Service’ in Llangollen taken by Bishop Gregory to which we are all invited – see details at https://www.llandegla.wales/st-teclas-church/index
Then on Wednesday we have two services in St Tecla’s taken by Rev Helen – one at 11.00 am and one at 2.00 pm – again see all the details at https://www.llandegla.wales/st-teclas-church/index
On Good Friday, April 15th, at 11.00 am we once again welcome Rev Mike Williams who will be taking a Stations Of The Cross Service, kindly accompanied by John Rogers on the organ.
Then two days later on Easter Sunday, April 17th, Rev Mike Williams returns again to take our 10.00 am Eucharist Service and again is kindly accompanied by John Rogers on the organ . . . while I try to do my best as a ‘Church D-J’ on our music machine there is nothing so splendid as the sound of a real organ in a church.
I look forward to seeing you all at some or even all of the different events . . . and to those that can’t make it HAPPY EASTER !
Best wishes Annie Walsh
St Tecla’s Church Warden
