A message from Church Warden Annie Walsh
Dear Friends,
There will NOT BE a service at St Tecla’s on Sunday
12th September.
Instead we are all invited by Bishop Gregory to
attend at 3.30pm in the afternoon the Licensing Service of Rev. Helen Gheorghiu
Gould at the Church of SS Mael & Sulien in Corwen.
Helen was the Transition Missioner in the Diocese of Chelmsford and will minister within the Valle Crucis Mission Area with responsibility for Corwen, Carrog, Glyndyfrdwy, Bryneglwys and Llandegla. So hopefully she we will be a regular visitor to St Tecla’s.
This Sunday morning (Sept.5th) at St
Tecla’s we welcome back once the Reverend Mike Williams who will be taking our
10.00 am service.
As usual please find, from John Gambles, the Roots resources for children and families and a Morning Worship service for the Fourteenth Sunday after Trinity at St Tecla's Church (llandegla.wales). Unfortunately, there is no Welsh Language Activity Sheet for children this week. The Morning Worship can also be particularly useful for reaching out and keeping contact with those who are unable to return to church at this time; the intercessions and the bible notes within are of course for wider use too. Also attached are the Sunday Blue Readings sheet on which this Morning Worship is based, together with the bilingual readings and responsorial sheets from the Diocese.
Finally, I look forward to seeing as many of you as can make it to St Tecla’s tomorrow and the following Sunday with the Bishop in Corwen. See below for details of parking etc in Corwen on Sunday September 12th.
Best wishes
Annie Walsh - St Tecla’s Church Warden
PARKING IN CORWEN -The service starts at 3.30 and there is plenty of parking in the main car park adjacent to the Bus Station in Corwen. Right at the statue of Owain Glyndwr and then first right towards the Medical Centre and Bus Station.
